Description

As part of the Twilight Thursday initiative, Mother Macs Public House introduces Voices from the Parlour—a new monthly series celebrating the creativity and storytelling at the heart of Limerick.

The first event takes place on Thursday, 30th April at 7pm in the intimate surroundings of Peggy’s Whiskey Parlour.

Each month, Voices from the Parlour will welcome a local artist, musician, or writer to share their work and their story in a relaxed, conversational setting. From live music and readings to informal discussion, the evening is designed to bring audiences closer to the creative process and the people behind it.

For this inaugural gathering, the guest remains a surprise—but one we’re genuinely excited to share with you on the night.

Rooted in the long tradition of the Irish pub as a space for culture, conversation, and connection, this is not a performance in the usual sense. It’s an evening built around listening, sharing, and being part of something small but meaningful.

Kindly supported by Limerick City & County Council, Limerick Nighttime Economy and Twilight Thursday.

Free to attend, but ticketed due to limited capacity.
