Whiskey Society: Royal Oak Distillery

Join us at Mother Macs on Thursday, 13 August at 7:30pm as the Limerick Whiskey Experience Whiskey Society welcomes Royal Oak Distillery to Peggy’s Whiskey Parlour.

Based in County Carlow, Royal Oak is one of the few Irish distilleries producing all three principal styles of Irish whiskey under one roof: malt, grain and pot still. Combining traditional whiskey-making with modern distilling techniques, the distillery is also home to The Busker Irish Whiskey range.

During this guided tasting, we will explore a selection of whiskeys from Royal Oak, learn more about the distillery’s approach to production and maturation, and discover how its different whiskey styles come together in the glass.

Whether you are a longtime society member or simply interested in discovering more about Irish whiskey, this promises to be another enjoyable evening of good whiskey, good stories and good company.
