Description
Mother Macs Casked in Bond – Dunville’s 1808 Irish Whiskey Collectors’ Edition | Release No. 14
Created to mark a remarkable 10-year milestone at Mother Macs, this exclusive Dunville’s 1808 release is a celebration of friendship, craft, and the Irish pub at its best. Produced in collaboration with the legendary Dunville’s Irish Whiskey, this bottling proudly forms part of the Collectors’ Edition, representing No. 14 in the Casked in Bond range, a series dedicated to celebrating the very best pubs in Ireland.
Distilled in 2015, this exceptional whiskey brings together Pot Still, Malt, and Grain whiskeys, showcasing the breadth of Ireland’s distilling tradition. The final flourish comes from finishing in luxurious Moscatel sherry casks, adding depth, elegance, and a distinctive house character.
Moscatel maturation delivers beautifully layered flavours—fruity, floral, and softly sweet, with notes of golden syrup and chocolate throughout.
On the nose, expect honey, bright citrus, toffee apple, and fresh orchard fruit. On the palate, a viscous mouthfeel leads into sherry-led richness, vibrant fruit notes, and a gentle white pepper spice that lingers gracefully.
Bottled at 46% ABV, this is a true collector’s whiskey—one that captures heritage, hospitality, and a decade of shared stories within the walls of Mother Macs Public House.
Available exclusively at Mother Macs.
